So... I have two tickets for the Pittsburgh show on March 1st, but I can't go because reasons. Would any of you be interested? I know I could go be all overpriced on eBay or StubHub, but I'd rather just let them go for face value to someone who really wants them.

Guys (Steve and Emanate especially!) check out Ex Hex!

I saw them, completely unknown to me then, at a festival over the summer and they were brilliant, heaps of fun and hard rocking. I've just got around to checking the album, released last year, and it is so, so good! I can't stop listening!
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

#8 on my list last year. It's so wonderful to see Mary Timony playing upbeat music and seemingly having the time of her life.
And it's going to be how do we think government should work and who do we think government should work for?

^ Glad you know them! I probably saw them mentioned on your list and thought "Must check them out" and then got distracted by a squirrel or something.

I'm seeing them in one of my favourite venues in London in November. It's going to be great!

    Not gonna lie.

    This makes me very sad.

    So.

Three songs into the new album.

I don't know yet whether or not it rocks enough.
And it's going to be how do we think government should work and who do we think government should work for?

I'm one of the biggest SK fans and this new album is not that great. I keep willing myself to like it and that's not a good sign at all. Some songs are okay, though. It sucks, because I thought for sure with Annie behind production it would have been bad ass.

I am loving the SK album. Favorites are Hurry on Home, Can I Go On, The Dog/The Body, and Ruins.
