Tonight is a beautiful tearjerker nd Window Blues, Breaking Up, Melodies & Desires, Little Bit, Hanging High and Trumpet are the tracks getting the most play. But I also find it an album I'm happy to play on though without skipping to my favorites - even the songs I'm not crazy about have their own appeal.
Hanging High is my favorite . and Complaint Department.

Complaint Department is a great song!

Wounded Rhymes CD waiting on my doormat when I got home from work. Hurrah and huzzah!

Guardian interview with Lykke on here.

After the success of her first album, 2008's Youth Novels, Lykke Li went to Los Angeles to write the follow-up. She rented a small cabin in Echo Park and a big piano to put in it, along with an auto-harp and a guitar. "I didn't have a driver's licence so I was stuck on that hill," she says. "I could have gone on for ever, just hanging out, not going on tours."

Thanks for posting that! It really made me appreciate Lykke even more. She very much reminds me of myself. (The emotional, sensitive, hermit artist type.) The part where the spoke about the light in LA as mentioned in David Lynch's Catching The Big Fish book was quite surprising. When I talk about LA, I always mention the light and refer to the same book. Love!

Glad you liked the article but I'm not Andrew.

I booked a ticket for the Roundhouse gig. That'll be a good one as it's a great venue!

I LVE "I Follow Rivers"! I've been playing it non-stop since Saturday, when I got the album. I still haven't listened to all of it yet, but I'm sure it will make my top 10 this year.

I'm in love with this album! "I Follow Rivers" is my fave so far but there's not a song on the album that I don't like.
