So much snow! I wish we got snow (at least some to talk about) here. Apparently it was snowing late last night, but of course there was no trace of it when I woke up this morning.

Can I go back to civilisation now please?
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

I took these pictures with my iPhone (as usual) the day before Christmas. It's my parents house by the coast about an hour and a half north of Stockholm.

Pretty snow, but glad I don't usually have to deal with that.

I love the snow, which is convenient if you live here. Our northerly latitude means that we haven't got much daylight during the winter, so the snow makes the world a lot brighter. Without it the darkness can be pretty oppressive. Since we get snow regularly, we're pretty good at dealing with it efficiently. Things rarely grind to a halt because of it.

You need to teach where I live how to handle it. 6" can shut down the city.

My son and I were quite impressed. Come to New Mexico and you can get all the sunsets you want!

    That's stunning, MTC.

I took a couple of photos today down by Vancouver's waterfront:
