    Twin Peaks

I have never seen Twin Peaks. I have been reading about its apparent brilliance for a long time. I am considering treating myself to this:

Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are two of my favourite films so I'm familiar with some of Lynch's work. But I've never seen the TV show - so think of this as a Twin Peaks discussion/appreciation thread which I may use to convince myself to get it!

My Twin Peaks appreciation is warped because I watched Fire Walk With Me before the series! Stupid! Don't do that! I would have loved to start the series in order without having known who the killer is all along.

I loved the series. I would watch with my parents every week.

(Does that set come with the pilot episode? Not all of them did.)

It does. It also has all of the Log Lady segments. Menju, I have the Definitive Gold Box Edition and highly recommend it (for either a Twin Peaks virgin or a die hard).

Think I'll end up getting it - it seems to be a real favourite. It's one of those TV shows I've been meaning to see but never have so far.

I just watched this and thought it was amazing - there was practically a reference a minute to Twin Peaks. Psych is always made of win for me (I think it is one of the funniest shows on right now) but the writers really outdid themselves on this episode! The re-worked opening was so great!
    Suck it, Shawn.

I think I'm going to get it after Christmas and start 2011 in style

Although, in only the last couple of days, the price on Amazon and Play.com has suddenly gone up by 3! I hate it when it happens. Only 3 but still, these things irk me!

I've never seen all of them, either. I bought some VHS awhile back at a gas station. Guess how that turned out.

    I need this!
