    Drawings and doodles

We had a thread back on @ where we posted random sketches and I thought it'd be a nice idea to do that again. Prompted by a drawing I made for my recently born niece. Take a look

I love your drawing, Wout. You're very talented. Have you ever thought about illustrating children's books?

I'll share some of my doodles:

This one's inspired by some Josh Ritter lyrics - "Every heart is a package tangled up in knots someone else tied."

and I drew this one when I was anticipating the winter solstice lunar eclipse, which turned out to be a bust in my town.

thanks that's a huge compliment. I thought about it but am too hesitant to send work in... Maybe I should...

Also, Sekertary, I really like the momentum in the first drawing!

Thanks, Wout. I agree with lexa that if you're not already professional in illustration, you should be! dang.

Sorry the photo is so crappy; I had to take it with my phone because my camera is MIA. And I had to prop it up against the faucet and mirror in my bathroom Drawing in progress.

Wow wout! You should at least sell prints on etsy.com! I searched for the LONGEST time trying to find a cute original "lovable monster" theme for my kid's room. There was cute stuff, but nothing quite what I was going for. But I woulda loved a flying dragon!

Secret & Choirgirl - your pictures are so good!

I LOVE this! When I was in college and taking hours and hours of art classes, drawing skulls / bones in pencil and charcoal was my favorite! I'll have to find some of my old sketches and share. But I don't think any of them will rival this one! It is gorgeous!!!

Nowhere as good as Choirgirls' skull... but it's one that I did at work one day (using a "fake" skull )

That's fantastic, Sweetpea! I love how you emphasized the outline of the skull.
