That just shows how ridiculously male dominated that sample is. Joni Mitchell the only female artist and at number 93 of 100!? Come on.

    Abbie Cornish on Madonna

During a recent interview, W.E. star Abbie Cornish opened up about working on the film with director Madonna.

Here's what she had to say about Madge:

"Madonna’s one of the smartest women I’ve ever come across."

"You need to be totally switched on to the news and current affairs to talk to her – she asks you questions all the time and expects you to be up on everything that’s going on, from Libya to the latest advances in technology. Her mind never stops working. She’s also very funny. She tells a lot of good jokes. She is one of the coolest women on the planet. I didn’t know what to think when I met her but she was everything you expect and don’t expect at the same time."

"The biggest thing that surprised me about her was how much she includes you in her life and her family when you work with her. I hung out with the children and we’d talk about everything from shoes to the state of the world."

    More from Abbie:

"My most surreal memory of working with Madonna is the stylish way she finishes a shoot – with a Cosmopolitan. Standing next to her after a day’s shoot and drinking a Cosmo – I mean, it doesn’t get better than that. Even though we’ve finished filming we still keep in touch. I have her email address and we send messages. Madonna likes to email."

Top 5 (ONLY 5) Madonna songs. GO!

Simply, the top 5 Madonna songs I never get sick of hearing. These are "comfort" songs, I guess you could say.

    01. I'll Remember - This is the first Madonna song that I remember hearing on the radio.
    02. Open Your Heart - Definitely my favorite Madonna single of the '80s.
    03. Has to Be - The best Ray of Light track.
    04. Rain - Spectacular song. The "heart" of Erotica.
    05. Cherish - Iconic.

    01. Deeper and Deeper - criminally underrated.
    02. Human Nature - encapsulates everything i love so much about her: absolutely no regrets.
    03. Vogue - goes without saying, this is pop perfection.
    04. Secret - probably the sexiest song in her catalog.
    05. Don't Tell Me - my favorite track off my favorite album of hers.

I'm not sure about the other four yet, but my absolute all-time favourite is "Live To Tell."
