I'm busy

Hello, dearies! I've come back from my vacation to the absolutely CHARMING island of Little Britain, known to you as Ireland.
UNFORTUNATELY, due to unforeseen circumstances, I just could not meet up with the lovely Eamon. Alas! My cat, HepatitisCat, was bloody sick and I had to tend to his paws.
But I digress!
Which of you lovely chaps are following the saga of the Event of the century? The Royal Wedding, my dears! As you New Colonists are fond of saying, "Get with the program, Snooki! And a little sauce on the side, please!"
I'm just teasing, do not worry!
Talk about the royal wedding!
charles and camilla are getting married?!?!!?!?
No, dear. "Get with the program, Snooki!"
Well, I am absolutely arse over elbow excited! I am hosting this absolutely charming get-together, you see, where each invitee brings to my abode a baked confectionery, say a scone, or perhaps some blood pudding-- a VERY British dish, for I am British, long live the Queen and God bless her Gentle soul--and we put all those absolutely DIVINE eatables on a table, and gather around the telly to watch the event that I am SURE I'll be telling my grandkids!
I am also planning this LOVELY game, where one picks a card from a pile, and the card has written on it an instruction for a bloody ZANY action, and the card pickee acts out the action, and the rest of the audience, in silence, and by turns, must guess as to what action is being acted out! Heavens! I'm excited enough to spend a penny right now!
I have also procured various muffins with a likeness of William on the top! That man just gets my scone dripping with ginsing. I am SURE you lasses know what I mean, eh?
Well, cheerio! I must be off to pick up HeapatitsCat from the veterinary edifice! I just hope I do not run into any of those American grockles sauntering around Bond Street with a camera. Heaven spare us all!
I'll admit - I'm kinda excited. Not wake-up-early or have-a-royal-wedding-party excited, but excited nonetheless! I like Kate Middleton and think she'll be really good for bringing some modern sensibilities to the throne.
chillin in kyoto grand with my man Skrill
Well I for one am pleased that the Royals have chosen to pay a tribute to my cat on her first birthday. We might be tuning in, we might just be sharing tuna water. It's up to her.
i love gumpy
For all my cynicism about the necessity of a monarch, it is secretly quite exciting seeing all the ceremony. I was a bit meh until I saw Harry and Wills leave for the ceremony. He looks absolutely dashing.
I have a wedding to go to today. Not this wedding, but I'm in the wedding spirit nonetheless.
I have mainly been enjoying the ugly fascinator competition the guests are having.
They've totally sampled the bells from the start of The Sensual World.
You know, say what you will about the monarchy and all that, but one thing is for sure.
Kate is fucking gorgeous.
I mean, seriously. Wow.
At my core, I think we're gonna be OK.
Barack Hussein Obama
Sarah Burton/McQueen dress!! FIERCE!
Agreed! The dress is exquisite. Very Grace Kelly-esque.
I'm avoiding TV as I have important new CDs to listen to instead. I'm keeping half an eye on proceedings on twitter as that is where it'll break first if anything hilarious happens.
Looks like they didn't need put Operation Pumpkin into effect.
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."
I didn't think the ceremony would be quite this long - how naive!
