^I may be in the minority but I do enjoy Between, there are some interesting percussion things deep in the mix towards the end of the song that I really enjoy.
PS... Totally agree about Be Kind replacing Man & a Woman. I mean what the hell, the former is a classic. And the latter, does anyone actually enjoy it?

I don't like Between a Man and a Woman at all.
I'm also in the minority in that I've started to enjoy Between a Man and a Woman. I never really used to though... and it's still not exactly a favourite. Be Kind to My Mistakes would definitely have been a better choice IMO.
As for Heads We're Dancing, I just consider it one of Kate's exaggerated, comic songs. Like Between a Man and a Woman, it's not one of the stronger songs on the album, but I can still enjoy aspects of it.
^ I initially misread that as you stating it was the only song on the album you actively disliked along with This Woman's Work. To each their own, but the mind boggled for a moment there.![]()
I have the CD and cassette of this album, I just need the record. I adore this album.
I cheated a little with this one since there really isn't much to the artwork for this album, so I used a few of those promo photos you see in the corners that were taken by Guido Harari.
Did you all know Pitchfork scored this album 9.4? https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums...sensual-world/
Which is way higher than, say, The Dreaming, which has 7.7. https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums...-the-dreaming/
To be fair, it is a really good album. There isn't a bad track on there for me. I know lots of people dislike Between A Man And A Woman, but I've always enjoyed it and it sounds great on the remaster - there's loads more detail in there than I previously heard. I prefer the Director's Cut version of Never Be Mine, and the live version might be superior again, but did always love the original. I think they simply under scored The Dreaming.
