The new season of Kimmy Schmidt is both super short (only 8 episodes vs the normal 13, with more supposedly coming later this year) and not very good.

Plus instead of just having a few one-off Trump jokes, footage of him shows up a few times and it gets me all wound up. A show about recovering from trauma is inflicting more trauma on me!

It's not HORRIBLE or anything. Just not very good. Netflix shows have the Showtime curse of not being able to hold it together for the most part after a couple seasons, some shows only after one.

I'm ok with shows getting shorter seasons if that means that each episode of short runs will be high quality, but it's not happening.

Hmm. It's 6 episodes and I found it super entertaining (minus the mockumentary episode).

6, 8... apparently I count like Kimmy. I liked aspects of the mockumentary, but it was a little too much. And again, it was not fun for my ptsd.

Busy Phillips towards the end of the run was probably the best part of the season.

Busy Phillips was such a welcome surprise, hoping for a good arc with her in the next 8 eps!

Also great to see Mimi back in the mix as Jaqueline's PA?! The more screentime she gets the happier I will be.

Sense8 finale. I thought it was pretty stellar. I think they may have broken a record for the amount of gun battles in a two hour show/movie that isn't about a war.
And that ending was clearly Lana Wachowski making some kind of statement. At the end it said "For Our Fans" but I also think it might have been a bit of a "f u" as well. That was pretty much porn. And at times a bit too graphic for it not to be a statement of some type.

I liked the behind-the-scenes footage of everyone dancing all the time more than I think I enjoyed the finale itself. Lana sure has a lot of energy.
