I love that show. This is the same creative team behind The Office US / Parks & Rec / Brooklyn 99, so basically the people responsible for some of the best comedy in TV history. The Good Place is fast becoming my favourite thing they've done, which is saying something.

Superstore with America Ferrera. It's a sitcom about a group of people working at a Walmart-like store called Cloud 9. It's hilarious and it keeps getting better with each episode.

And since we're talking about Marvel shows: I think the last season of Agents of Shield was really good. It's still my favourite tv show from that franchise - and also Jessica Jones and Agent Carter (which unfortunately was cancelled)

I tried watching it, but the multi-cam video look and the laugh track were so distracting. The acting seems stiff and wooden. Maybe I'd like it if I were high as fuck, but I can't get into it.

Kathy Bates was why I watched. I don't get Roseanne from her. I get Frankie from Grace and Frankie. Down to the half black, half jewish son.

We tried to watch disjointed last night. I really wanted to like it because I LOVE Kathy Bates. But I cannot deal with the laugh track.

The laugh track's definitely unfortunate, and takes some getting used to. It starts to find its groove around the third episode. I can't stand any of Chuck Lorre's other shows, but I can definitely get behind this one. Maybe it just speaks to my inner stoner

I am watching Quantico season 2 - enjoyed the first one quite a bit and I have to admit, I like some of the female characters a lot (Alex, Shelby, the twins). I also like the style of "narration": current events are slowly progressing and the year leading up to them is told up to the end of the season with some nice twists.
People who enjoyed Alias, Dollhouse and 24 might like this show too, I guess.

I don't know why I never watched True Blood but I'm catching up now. I don't LOVE it, but I do really like it. I think what's keeping me from loving it is that some of the writing and acting is... it's not top notch. Fun, but not excellent.

I do spend a lot of time wondering what the cock sock budget must have been like because there is a lot of nudity, but very little sausage.

It also gets extra points for having a great theme song. The music itself is good and it fits the show very well.

Season 4 of Bojack Horseman. No surprises, it's brilliant. I know everyone raves about how it depicts depression (and rightly so, it is amazing in this respect) but for me, Princess Carolyn and being an older, independent, career-driven woman trying to balance all the things the world expects of you ... I have never seen that explored so beautifully and honestly as they do in this show.

As soon as this asshole hurricane leaves and I get power back, that's the first thing on my list. I wasn't sure about the show until over halfway through the first season but by the end of the third season it had wrecked me.

Hope everything's okay Ryan. My partner's family lives in Williston and it sounds like there is a big mess but no material damage. Thank god.

I was pretty well won-over by the end of S1 and I think it's only gone from strength to strength. I don't think they did anything as innovative and imaginative as the underwater episode from S3 (my favourite BH episode ever), but it's still brilliant.

What is about the show that won you over? I watch my first episode, S1 E1, last night. I was kind of meh about it.
