If you haven't watched Derry Girls yet, I highly recommend it. It's funny, clever, and has just the right about of feels.

Killing Eve - Perhaps one of the most amazing shows that is completely pointless I've ever watched.
I mean, they go about building up this world so meticulously. I got really invested in it. You have this organization called the 12 and the team Eve is on which is an unofficial, official investigation on Villanelle and the 12.. and it's so quirky and the acting is so good... and then the final episode?
    What was that???

It's like if Harry Potter (which had this amazing world/mythology set up) ended with Harry saying eff it to everyone and getting on a plane to Bimini to work on his tan. I mean, this show (Killing Eve) was building up to have an amazing payoff and when it was time to do so it just decided to ... not do that. And the ending it did give was so freaking insane it's probably genius.

Very pointless but still great fun to watch.
And if nothing else.. what a wonderful thing for Sandra Oh whom I think has never been given the accolades for the great work she's done for more than 2 decades now. For her to have a vehicle like this makes me very happy.

I don't know why I never watched Drunk History before. I guess I didn't get what it was trying to do but I started it and I am enjoying it. Snarky history is one of my great loves. And when it's not snarky, the absurdity and guest stars are fantastic.

Good grief and god damn that was a stellar adaptation of an already good book. Uncomfortable to watch, menacing and brooding and so much attention to detail in almost every shot and scene. Amy Adams nailed it and then some. A+

    Russian Doll on Netflix.
You need this! It's great fun. It's basically just great.

I'm really loving Russian Doll too. Natasha Lyonne is amazing in it.

I just finished watching Kingdom on Netflix. It's a Korean historical thriller...plus more. I don't want to spoil the rest of it, and it's only six episodes, but very, very good.

I started watching Russian Roll and didn't immediately liked it. But my friends all loved it SO much, that I kept it on in the background while I did chores around the house. The first episode that made me want to really watch it with full attention was episode 4. From then on it's pretty amazing. To be fair, I'm not a huge Natasha Lyonne fan.

After years of my partner loving it, I have finally broken down and given Game of Thrones a chance. Fantasy is not really my genre, but I must say the show is immensely watchable and ridiculously well done. I quite like it.

    Also PLEASE DO ME:

Well, I know what we're not watching.

‘The Punisher’ & ‘Jessica Jones’ Canceled By Netflix

After Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil were all given the chop late last year by the streamer, the unplugging of further seasons of the blood and bullet strewn Frank Castle saga should really come as no surprise. With new and old Marvel content a big component of the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, the final stage of the disentangling of the once burgeoning relationship between the House of Mouse and Netflix has now become more a matter of when and how not if.
I'm assuming the awful Defenders is gone too. JJ will air its third season before being done. I'm super disappointed. JJ S1 was such a good depiction of PTSD and coping and abuse. The incredible gaps between seasons has also hurt it. I don't know if S3 will be any good, but the potential the whole series had with S1 was definitely not met.

So I'm watching Temptation Island. We also have a season of the show that just started in The Netherlands/Belgium. I think it's super interesting to see the differences between the two shows.

US: everyone is like 25 and over
NL/BE: most are in their early 20s

    US: budget
    NL/BE: no budget

    US: semi-reputable people, kinda
    NL/BE: mostly skanks

    US: fake Americans
    NL/BE: annoying Belgians

It's safe to say: I'm hooked!

Pen15 on Hulu! I watched all of it twice over 3 days. Hilarious! Maya Erskine is my new favorite person!
