Amazing! Two of my favorite bands. But no dates in the DC area? Here's hoping they add one! There is space between the 2nd and the 5th.

I am sooo going to get a NY or MA.... but OMG, I'm bummed that Exene is only doing the west coast!! I would be more excited for her than Blondie tbh. What's funny is that I have some live recordings from the 80s of Exene with X and I guess she and Debbie were not friendly. Probably ancient history now.

If anyone is interested in the Lewiston NY show, there's a pre sale where GA is only $12. I didn't know where in NY that was, it's way far for me unfortunately. Not wanting to publicly post the password, but more than happy to share over PM.

Also looks like Sky Ferierra is opening the Hollywood Bowl July 9th show. Damn you Hollywood.

Deap Vally is still pretty entertaining though - less is more approach. Just two girls: drums and guitar. I hope they add some more dates, either to fill in the few holes or for more stuff in the fall.

I like being surprised by a great opening act, so I'll look forward to that. If I get tickets. (guh)

Sky Ferriera tho... Ugh, that would've been the triple whammy of the year.

Shirley is featured on two songs on the American Gods soundtrack. Listen to "Queen of the Bored" here.

She does the vocalizations on the theme song, and there's also a duet with Debbie Harry!

Just wanted to share with your my "strange little birds" edit
Listening to the cat Steven's cover, I could totally imagine it sonically fitting into SLB.
I decided to throw "empty", "magnetized" and "we never tell" into..... garbage.
It is my best garbage album including some wonderful vinyl tracks.

    1 - Sometimes
    2 - The chemicals
    3 - Blackout
4 - Where do the children Play (Cat Stevens cover)
    5 - If I lost you
    6 - Night Drive Loneliness
7 - Even though our love is doomed
    8 - Fucking with You
9 - So we can stay alive
10 - Teaching little fingers to play
    11 - Amends
    12 - On Fire

It's not like Amazon is the most reliable source, but it says "From the Album No Horses". So maybe there's a new album.
I think it was yesterday that they posted the lyrics of a song. I have no idea if it had anything to do with horses; I do remember the last line was something about a skeleton.
When he woke up, the dinosaur was still there.

Nope. Shirley said in an interview that they had a week-long session where they started work on about 5 songs. One of those is getting released because they wanted to have something done in time for the tour.

I was iffy on getting the book, but am really pleased especially at a $19 price point (was Amazon pre-order). Need to be in the right mood to dig into the text so more to go, but found some great stuff so far -- in that it's not just the same histories i've read a million times being a long time fan. Also the images are plentiful and gorgeous..

Dig the preview of the new song and the lyric snippets they shared. Think it'll be a keeper & appreciate the artwork.
