The LE b-sides and the UTP b-sides and the BFP b-sides on vinyl. I don't get why they didn't released it on vinyl; they were already remastered, and they are actually harder to find on vinyl that the records... What a wasted opportunity.

She should do a double vinyl of B-Sides spanning her career.

This actually doesn't feel impossible to me. I could see her going into the studio to record a bonus disc of her stripped down versions of Cool On Your Island, Etienne, etc.

On paper, the purple vinyl sounds amazing, (like, with black and white marbling? how gorgeous would that look?!) but I doubt Tori will release color vinyl again because of the sound quality issue. Apparently, black vinyl is the standard because it sounds the best, probably because it's been used so much for so long that the formulation is more standardized and road tested. If you compare the original US releases of BFP, the black vinyl sounds way better than the clear. Same with the black vinyl version of UTP vs. the pink vinyl.

It is kinda hard to guess if TVAB will be reissued with the first five albums (including YKTR now, bit surreal, that...) because it was such an unusual format and 2 discs to start with, but to do a worthwhile pressing of the whole album on vinyl, it'd have to be at least three records (4-6 records to really get the best sound quality. With vinyl, the sound quality is better the shorter the sides are and the heavier the weight because the grooves can be deeper and wider, allowing for louder volume and fuller tone) and it would probably be more expensive than the other reissues because the packaging would be more complicated/custom.

That said, I really hope they will release SLG, SW, and TBK on vinyl, especially Scarlet because that album was absolutely made for vinyl. I actually read somewhere that Mark told someone they mixed that album with vinyl in mind and they were disappointed when the label never put it out. It's kind of ironic she made two double albums in the period when major labels weren't releasing vinyl because everyone was in crisis mode over downloading.

While I'm posting on this thread, Smokey Joe and Dragon still both have me wondering what they're sitting on because those songs weren't supposed to be on the album and they're pretty much unanimously the best songs on ADP. I also remember reading an interview with either Matt or Jon where he said they tracked about 40 songs for ADP and were really surprised by the finished album because there was so much post-production they almost didn't recognize the finished tracks. I'd love to hear some of the outtakes and alternate mixes because there's probably another album's worth.

Also, I would love a really well made double vinyl compilation of remastered b-sides, or a single disc for each of the first three albums. There are so many great songs. I'd love a new way to listen to them.
