1 episode left. Seems like they have a lot of ground to cover.

It’ll be a neat trick if they pull it all together.
At my core, I think we're gonna be OK.

The finale was better than I was expecting, still frustrating! They could have taken the time they wasted on the filler episodes and set up the finale way better especially in with regards to

I was very satisfied with the finale. Yeah, it’s still too bad that they dithered for three episodes, but they pulled it together in the end.

What really became clear is that this was Mallory’s story all along. And Billie Lourd was more than up to the task. Especially given her pedigree, I think she’s gonna be a huge star.

A couple of things towards the end that tickled me:

Well, it was an ending. I'm sure this was noticed by all too.

That bit was the most rewarding in many ways because it completed the circle and now you understand why everyone who made it to the bunker were there. If it gets you to start to really think.. perhaps Michael always knew. Backup plan to introduce them.

It was a great finale! Lots of fun. Lots of magic; it almost felt like an X-Men film (Coven: Days of Future Past). Myrtle at the end was a great payoff throwing people around and setting them on fire with not a lot of outloud spells but fabulous hand precision. Actually all the action stuff was wonderfully done. And Mallory. Mallory Mallory Mallory. It was just so good!

I think Coven should continue for a while. Because when they get Coven right they really get it right.

I really didn't like the ending, but i also didn't really like this season tbh. I'm surprised its getting a good reaction here, as i think it is guilty of all the faux pas' that people don't like about previous seasons. To me, sadly, Apocalypse is my second to least favorite (after Freakshow).

what i didn't like about it:

Also, if they were going to go super campy, as they obviously did, they should have done something like this:

The video does make some good points. I hadn't thought about the effect time travel would have with some of the characters.

Like I said earlier, it was an ending. The writing always seems unfocused. I was hoping the backstory eps would reign in some of the crazy, but I was disappointed.

Also, what the finale implies about the return to the murder house episode. Oh man.

    Also with regards to Mallory:

^ For all those reasons I thought this season was an absolute mess. Ryan Murphy is not very good at telling a coherent story that makes any kind of sense.

Wow. That list is making me re-think my mostly positive reaction to the season.
I guess it just comes down to liking the Diva/Drama that is Coven. It's not really horror but it never really was. I guess in S3 Coven when they sew the boy parts back together and
the introduction of the Axeman were a bit horrifying.

What's clear is that, each season, they literally make it up as they go along and don't even think about continuity or plot holes. It's always a fun ride but... then you think about what actually happened and it never holds up. But, again, camp! lol

Cody Fern' s character looks like something straight out of Dante's Cove.
