    I'm not sure if I can make it but I'll try, since Ys is one of my favourite albums, and I love the idea of online listening parties (never participated in one, though).

    Ugh. I love how beautifully simple the opening is. And then the melody repeats as the music gets more complex around it, subtly growing and easing into the song.

    Those orchestrations are really wonderful, yet never become the singable melody of the song, if you know what I mean? They highlight, and dance around, and create atmosphere, and keep the music feeling fresh, but never overpower her vocal melody.
