I'm not disputing that. Still, as per the OCC, a new Top 10 hit it is not.

The Whole Story is now out of the UK Top 75, down to #84 this week.

Since the Olympics, it's had a nine-week run back inside the Top 100, seven of those in the Top 75.

The Whole Story back up to UK #66

Kate Bush's 1986 number one compilation The Whole Story sold an average of 183 copies a week in the first 11 weeks of 2014, but was re-awakened by the announcement of her 22 date Hammersmith Apollo residency, re-entering the Top 200 at number 106 last week. The dates sold out in 15 minutes last Friday, generating masses more media coverage, and triggering a further increase in sales of the album, which jumps to number 66, with 2,038 sales in the latest frame, adding to its already huge tally of more than 1.2m.

I love that it sneaks back in the charts whenever something Kate-related happens in the news. It's her 21.

Multiple entries in UK Official Album Chart!

    The Whole Story: 15
    Hounds of Love: 29
    50 Words For Snow: 83
    The Kick Inside: 87
    The Sensual World: 93

Wondering if that's some kind of record for multiple albums by an artist in the chart simultaneously or something.
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

It's great to see Kate back in the charts! iTunes has been running links to Kate's album page from their main homepage (at least in the UK iTunes store) and there seems to be a sale on for her back catalogue as well:
