In retrospect I have to say I don't think there is one standout album, only standout songs.

I was pondering this today, and honestly, right now it's still skewed by how much I've been enjoying her latest material.

So, today, as I was driving home and listening to Biophilia, this was what I decided my ranking was in pairs:

    1. Medúlla / Biophilia
    2. Homogenic / Debut
    3. Post / Vespertine
    4. SelmaSongs / Telegram
    5. Volta / Drawing Restraint 9

Is it too early for this? Maybe, but I'm pretty assured of Vulnicura's placement at this point.

    Mine is still pretty similar.

Medúlla - stellar piece of work that marries her pop songs with her high concept, experimental art music side the most effectively to date.
Vulnicura - (no doubt the 'newness' factor, but still, it's pretty damn wonderful. Emotional Björk meets Art Music Björk)
Biophilia - Art Music Björk meets Experimental Music Frontier Björk.
Homogenic - An almost perfect record and such a great exploration of one focused instrumentation concept.
Debut - Party pop song Björk meets jazz fan Björk and decides to take over the world with joy.
Post - Some awesome songs, but as a complete album it's so all over the place. Exuberant but scattered.
Vespertine - I love half of this album a lot. And then there's the rest.
Volta - It has some wonderful peaks, which only really help define the troughs as even deeper. It's kinda like Post's other half - slightly scattered and all over the place, but doesn't quite manage to be the same sort of wild ride.
