Mine have moved a bit. Madame X lands smack in the middle for me--considering the strength of her discography, I'd say that's excellent. It could easily over-take American Life, but it's too new to say.

Madame X has roughly landed in the middle for me; I’ve resisted over playing it which has given me time to really appreciate it. Biggest surprise...MDNA sank to the bottom, in hindsight it’s like she didn’t even try after the major disappointment that was Hard Candy.

It's been a while since I ranked her albums, comparing them to one another. For some reason Rebel Heart didn't do much for me in 2015, it still is my least listened to Madonna record. But in hindsight I can see how strong it really is and how much it was an improvement over MDNA. As for Madame X, I'm not sure if it's because of how recent the release is but I'm obsessed with it and even in the future I can't see it ending up in a spot lower than no.8. It sits solidly in the middle of a pretty strong discography and that's pretty amazing for a 40 year career. Time will tell if it's the best since Music but I'm pretty sure I will always enjoy it more than Confessions on a Dancefloor and what came after. I did have second thoughts about placing Madame X above True Blue, Bedtime Stories and the self-titled album as there is hardly anything on it as strong as Live to Tell, Borderline, Secret or La isla Bonita but the sum is greater than its parts and makes for a thrilling album experience from start to finish.

This ranking has really changed a bit from the past few years. I've really grown to like Erotica and American Life more while listening to Ray of Light less. Also, out of her recent output, I seem to find MDNA much less offensive than most people. Rebel Heart is barely an album to me, more a sprawling collection of various songs. It desperately needed some editing to even have an identity.

Mine's changed a little bit. Unfortunately, I do not love Madame X as much as I'd hoped. I really love Madonna's voice and to hear it stifled on pretty much every track is disappointing.

Erotica - no pop singles on this but it’s still so good all the way....

COAD - this was also a great tour, she was so happy. Fuck u Guy.
Madame X - the most underrated of her career.....Ciao Bella
Rebel Heart - solid 11 tracks

MDNA - falling free, love spent, gang bang, masterpiece (sort of)... the rest is horrible

American Life - I hate it so much, it’s the one vinyl I refuse to buy. But thank got it flopped or we wouldn’t have got the reinvention tour.
