I found this interesting promo of PTM today

    https://www.discogs.com/Tori-Amos-Pa...elease/1844964

I was wondering what PSA on the last two tracks mean and what is to be heard on them. Can anyone help ?

IIRC, they're radio ads for RAINN.

The different moods in the album no longer feel all over the place, they transition almost perfectly. Imho
What is the original track list?

^ This was the track list included in the first press release:

    Pretty Good Year
    God
    Icicle
    Space Dog
    Bells for Her
    Baker Baker
    Past the Mission
    The Waitress
    The Wrong Band
    Cloud On My Tongue
    Cornflake Girl
    Honey
    Yes, Anastasia

Thanks. I am so attached to the released version that I don’t think I can handle this track list (CFG into Honey into Anastasia?). I actually really like the released version. I think it flows well. But that might just be the result of having listened to it that way for 20 years!

The transition from "God" to "Icicle" is perfection. This is the playlist I've made, which flows together perfectly for me.

    01. Pretty Good Year
    02. God
    03. Icicle
    04. Honey
    05. Bells for Her
    06. Cornflake Girl
    07. The Waitress
    08. The Wrong Band
    09. Past the Mission
    10. Cloud on My Tongue
    11. Space Dog
    12. Yes, Anastasia

This is the only 90s album where I think the track order could've been better. I like some of the transitions on this early version, and also the AP disc.

This seems like my perfect Pink:

    Pretty Good Year
    God
    Icicle
    Space Dog
    The Wrong Band
    Baker Baker (alt mix)
    The Waitress (alt mix)
    Cornflake Girl
    Honey
    Cloud On My Tongue
    Past The Mission
    Bells For Her
    Yes, Anastasia

I don't usually edit albums. I love UTP. But I guess I can see playing with the track order for this one. I would delete The Waitress (b-side) and add Honey as the opener and Daisy Dead Petals and Sister Janet to couple with Past the Mission or course! Daisy Dead Petals is everything to me...

    1. Honey
    2. Pretty Good Year
    3. God
    4. Icicle
    5. Baker Baker
    6. Cornflake Girl
    7. Bells For Her
    8. DELETE: The Waitress ADD: Daisy Dead Petals
    9. The Wrong Band
    10. Sister Janet
    11. Past the Mission
    12. Cloud on My Tongue
    13. Space Dog
    14. Yes, Anastasia
    Robbing the muse...

Pink is perfect to me, I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

Honey and Sister Janet are my favorite songs from this era, but I think they belong on the Cornflake Girl single. That single was probably my greatest possession at the time.

If I was going to delete any songs from UTP it would probably be The Wrong Band.

I should clarify that I wouldn't delete any songs from UTP, but, like if someone held a gun to my head and said, "PICK ONE."

    I guess that's okay, then.
