    Perhaps surprisingly, MDNA's UK chart decline has halted this week and it remains at #13.

    Six-week chart update!

    Total US sales: 456,332 (78% of which were in the first week)
    Total UK sales: the figure is probably somewhere around the 100,000 mark
    Total worldwide sales: estimated figure currently at around 1.2million

    It's official - "Girl Gone Wild" has entered the UK singles chart at #73. And if that wasn't enough, MDNA has moved up three places to UK #36 this week.

    MDNA is out of the UK Top 75 after an 11-week run, this week dropping 70 places to No.129. This makes it officially the Madonna studio album with the shortest chart run so far.

    Madonna's MDNA is a notable absentee from the Top 75, freefalling 59-129 (1,128 sales) this week to complete an 11 week run on the list. It is the shortest initial Top 75 run of any Madonna album since her self-titled 1984 debut. MDNA has sold 112,765 copies to date.

    Have updated front page with MDNA US re-entry figures and the frankly abysmal performance of "Turn Up The Radio."

    MDNA has just this past week finally cracked the 500,000 sales mark in the US.

    Detailed Australian (ARIA) chart history (only covers the ARIA-produced chart era - June 1988 onwards).

    NAT = national chart

    state charts:
    NSW/ACT = New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory
    VIC/TAS = Victoria/Tasmania
    QLD = Queensland
    SA/NT = South Australia/Northern Territory
    WA = Western Australia

    High Point = peak
    Times In = weeks on chart

    National and state chart peaks can vary significantly from the late 2000s onwards, as the the state charts were based on physical sales data only (i.e. no digital sales included) in the late 2000s, and on digital sales data only (i.e. no streaming included) from the early-mid 2010s onwards.

    'Nothing Fails' charted as an album, presumably due to the length of the CD/the no. of tracks it contained.

    'The First Album/Like a Virgin' was a double CD-release. Such things (repackaging two back catalogue albums together) were a mini-fad in Australia in the mid 90s.
