So sad. I'm probably the only person on this forum who remembers him from The Family Way.

He also starred in a late seventies/early eighties murder mystery called Malice Aforethought that PBS fans in this country rated very highly. I loved that one.

    No, me too!

My bank is in that film! And the view with Knowl Hill in the background. Although most was filmed in Bolton i think it was, some was filmed in my town, albeit before i was born. With Paul doing the theme song i watched the film years ago, and was like oooh it's home!

But yes it's sad.. my sister used to love watching "Shelley"

And Bruce has gone today.. for us Brits our 80s childhoods are going.. Brucie, Paul Daniels, Terry Wogan, Ronnie Corbett, Cilla.. Where does time go.

At my core, I think we're gonna be OK.

Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

Edie Windsor died. Her court case overturned DOMA. What an inspiration she was! Just an incredible human being. I'm really sad

It was always so moving to see her at pride. She was always out and about.

I saw Amadeus in DC in 1980 - the one with Ian McKellen as Salieri and Tim Curry as Mozart. It was so good that after I saw it I immediately bought a ticket for a second performance.
