Oh no I love TCM and I love listening to Robert Osborne talk about movies.
You don't have to do everything all by yourself.

Joni Sledge, member of the group Sister Sledge, dies aged 60

I only know the hits but what hits they were.
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

    Martin McGuiness dies at 66.

Not surprisingly, Twitter comments range from sad to "good riddance terrorist".

Colin Dexter, creator of Inspector Morse, dies aged 86

    http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainmen...342698?SThisFB

When Dexter received an OBE for services to literature in 2000, he said he would have liked to have thought his fictional detective would have bought him a celebratory whisky.

"I think Morse, if he had really existed and was still alive, would probably say to me, 'Well, you didn't do me too bad a service in your writing'.
"He might say, 'I wish you'd made me a slightly less miserable blighter and slightly more generous, and you could have painted me in a little bit of a better light'.

"If he had bought me a drink, a large Glenfiddich or something, that would have been very nice, but knowing him I doubt he would have done - Lewis always bought all the drinks."

NO!!!!! Oh my gosh. I am so devastated. My Mom grew up in Frankfurt and her family owned a film distribution business, so she was always attending screenings and premiers...she met and got to know Christine (they were the same age - both young pre-teens).

In another interview Rickles recalled how his insults caused De Niro to ‘fall to the floor’ laughing, but added: ‘Scorsese fell on the floor too, but he’s so small we couldn’t find him.’

The tribute stories to him are amazing. I don't know what else he had in the can, but he did complete voice work for Toy Story 4, so we have that to look forward to next year.

    J. Geils, guitarist for The J. Geils band, found dead in his home. I loved this band as a young'un. I love them still. Look past the early 80's and you'll find an excellent but sadly under rated band. RIP J.
And the ghosts that we knew will flicker from view
And we'll live a long life

Charlie Murphy has died of leukemia at 57.

This will forever be one of my favorite things and now both he and Prince are gone.
