I realize that I'm sweating more ever since I work out to the CD I pop into the player. I feel myself pushing myself more in keeping with the music. The albums I have played so far are Rufus Wainwright's latest, Age of Adz and Tori's Night of Hunters (!!).

This came on random during the chicago marathon at mile 25 and I was STRUGGLIN'. It definately got me to the finish line.

A lot of Cake's music is good running music, especially short skirt, long jacket.

Are there any other full albums that you guys like to workout to? Especially for cardio?

Robyn's Body Talk for me. she's one of those artists where i could pretty much just hit shuffle on all their songs on my phone though or just make a huge playlist of their stuff. i do that for Beyonce, Azealia Banks, Gaga, and Missy Elliot a lot.

I usually don't listen to music when I'm working out. I get too bored unless I have voices to listen to, so I generally prefer podcasts.

HOWEVER. On the rare occasion that I do feel some inner motivation, any of Florence and the Machine's albums seem to be the perfect rhythm and intensity for my workouts.
Sometimes I think the so-called "experts" actually are experts.

Gabriel & Dresden (2006, self titled) is one of my favorites to work out to. One of my favorite electronica/trance albums ever. Sooo good.. it's hard not to move when you're listening to it.
