    His Oscar performance (really short!)

Sufjan has a smart team. If you go to sufjan, com right now, it takes you to a new home page, which includes a brief biography, videos, merch, music, links to streaming services/playlists, etc., all under the Mystery of Love video prominently displayed at the top, to catch the people who will be googling it and checking it out following the Oscars.

That was... not his best. All I remember are St. Vincent's legs.
    He looked cute though!

I've been DYING for but never actually expected Chris Thile and Sufjan to team up. Please let there be more!

I was so excited to read that he would be performing with St. Vincent and Moses Sumney, but that was pretty underwhelming. Still a beautiful song, though. And I loved his jacket!

I think there are artists who are much more comfortable performing for devoted fans rather than industry people. Sufjan’s underwhelming performance at the Oscars kind of proved that. Granted it was criminally shortened but I think he was out of his element with this audience.

Love both him and the song though, and I hope he considers writing for more great films.

But they cut the song short, did they not?
And for that many guitars on stage.. I didn't hear a lot of... guitar??

Oscar isn't always known for it's music numbers, tho. Mary J. Blige was pretty good.

Sufjan performed on "Live From Here" with Chris Thile tonight. He performed Tonya Harding, Heirloom, Visions of Gideon, Mystery of Love, and a hymn

Sufjan's career has been on such a positive trajectory since forever. It just occurred to me, watching this video, that he has probably reached a whole new audience over the last year.

Thanks for sharing Andyland (I can't give you any more rep, unfortunately!) That's lovely.

I really love the little set he did for "Live From Here"
Anyone know of any other little live sets he's done and if they're available on youtube?
I've tried looking but it's kind of overwhelming trying to find something in the vastness of youtube!
