The album is titled HEARTTHROB. T&S are doing a Q+A on Twitter in about 30 minutes.

Here's the lyric video for "Closer"

A new track titled I'm Not Your Hero can be streamed on their website. I do like the melody but the production is very slick, polished and so very US Top 40. Sainthood was one the best indie pop albums of 2010 2009 (time flies) but these new songs aren't getting my hopes up for another triumphant offering, sadly.

I'm not listening to any new songs until the whole thing leaks, but I had a feeling Tegan and Sara would end up doing something similar to their recent collaborations (Feel It In My Bones, Body Work, Video, Every Chance We Get We Run). I'd never listen to Tiesto, Morgan Page or David Guetta if Tegan and Sara weren't singing on their songs. I'll admit Body Work and Video are still stuck in my head, but they do feel a bit hollow and get very repetitive. FIIMB, BW and Video are essentially the same song.

Recently I got all of the Quin sister's collaborations and there's so many of them that feel like I got a new, very eclectic album. Surprisingly, they're all pretty good! Contrails and Why Even Try were the most unexpected. Oh, and Sara taking over vocal duties on Still Alive (the song from Portal) is the cutest thing ever

I'm actually really loving this new sound for them. Granted it is a bit on the safe side, but it works for their voices, in my opinion.

Definitely. I think the album is going to be really strong overall. Closer is just such a fantastic pop song.

OK, y'all! Here's a bit of a YouTube dump, but they've been playing a bunch of new songs live, so I thought I'd throw some of them up here in case you're interested in seeing them.

For me, "Closer" is still the standout, but I am particularly loving "Messed Up." And the acoustic version of "I'm Not Your Hero" is pretty swell, too!
