Oh and the first show was tonight and arguably the best setlist they've done since 2002.

Arugh! I won't catch a show. I have been listening to Lateralus a lot recently.

by pucifer do you mean perfect circle?
coming to the Brown Theatre in Louisville?? YES!
One day I was walking and I found this big log. Then I rolled the log over and underneath was a tiny little stick and I was like, "That log done had a child!"

    Sorry, not APC

Puscifer is yet another of Maynard's projects. It's an electronic/cabaret/anything goes type of project. The album "Conditions of My Parole" was just released and it's really quite amazing.

It IS quite amazing, isn't it? I was very pleasantly surprised at how it was completely different than what I was expecting to hear from Puscifer.

I'm not going to be able to go to any of the Tool shows this tour. Everything is too far away. Maybe I could to go KC to see Puscifer, though. Hmmm...

I love that new Puscifer album, too--it got on my top ten of 2011. I really hated the previous full-length album, so I was very pleasantly surprised.

My best friend had an extra ticket to the Puscifer show in Dallas a couple of weeks ago and he brought me along. It was great!! Carina Round was the opening act and she kicked serious butt as well. I have mad respect for Maynard and the way he presents his music. My friend commented that this was the first time he'd seen Maynard actually standing front and center on stage while performing...usually he prefers not to be the center of attention. But apparently he can be quite the showman when the music warrants it.

A++++ all around. I'll totally go see them again when they come to Austin in February.
Sometimes I think the so-called "experts" actually are experts.

I casually looked for the lowest level price tickets this morning for Toledo's Tool show and wound up with front row upper deck right by the stage... exactly where I wanted to be.

13 minutes later the entire arena sold out. Tool is still THAT popular? lol. I'm really dumbfounded.

And I really regret not seeing the Puscifer show here a couple months back. I saw a setlist and they do pretty much the entire new album along with about a dozen other songs. It definitely looked like a show worth seeing.

Same here. I kept checking back with the venue though, and they did release more. I ended up with awesome tickets - I am so pumped! 10 more days....it's been 11 years since I've seen a Tool show.
