I've seen her live a few times. Both rocking out with a band and most recently an intimate acoustic gig at The Union Chapel which was just beautiful.

love her. 'south' will always remind me of summer 2000, which i spent in key west. that album and k.d. lang's 'invincible summer' were my soundtracks.
I don't understand the question, and I won't respond to it.

Oyster is an amazing album. I have worn mine out it has been played that much. I quite like her newer stuff as well though. Ride is forever on my playlists.

I tend to love her live stuff more than the studio recordings.

    essentials -
    light years (blow)
    talking to strangers (blow)
    island (wanderlust)

^ the notes she blasts and bends in these tracks are magnificent. and live, no less. unreal.

is the live dvd worth a look-in?

I haven't got the live DVD but from what I have seen of her in concert, then it's probably worth getting if you are into live stuff.

I was actually just listening to Oyster last night and meant to come here and search for a thread. Oddness.

    That's a great album.

Heather is another criminally underrated artist.

    This is true.

How did I miss this thread?! Heather is the artist that I've listened to and loved the longest, and I've only ever seen her in concert twice.

Oyster has always been my favourite album but I have so many favourite songs. I Miss My Sky is definitely in the top 10.

Yes, Heather is definitely way beyond underrated. She should be way more popular than she is. Blow & Wanderlust showcase her skills as a performer. Awesome news that she is going to be releasing a new album, I can't wait for that. And I Miss My Sky is in my top 10 as well.
    Suck it, Shawn.

Heather has just tweeted that the title of her new album is 300 Days At Sea.

    Can't wait to hear it!

So Heather's new album was released to people who pledged through PledgeMusic. I absolutely love it. She is the only artist I listen to who has been consistently good over her whole (almost) 20 year career. Excellent stuff.
