    Red Carpet Fashion - 2013!

Cause someone's got to! Let's try and keep this thread positive, though, without body snark.

My fave looks at the Globes this year...

Jennifer Lawrence (Dior!) - the bust on this dress was weird but she's amazing.

Julianne Moore in Tom Ford - perfect.

Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy Haute Couture

Jodie Foster in Armani (this dress is amazing)

Katharine McPhee!! She was my big winner for the night. Just stunning.

    CONNIE BRITTON IS EVERYTHING.

And so is Ewan McGregor (and his wife is adorbs but the fascinator not so much)

I loved Helen Mirren - talk about classy and so sexy

I also thought Naomi Watts was stunning

    Kate Hudson was gorgeous too

I guess the trend in amongst those looks is that they are all kinda covered up - there is very little skin on show and bits hanging out all over the place (well, Kate might be an exception here!). But still sexy and beautiful and feminine.

I'm not sure if Amanda Peet was at an after party or the official show, but regardless, this is a big no.

    I didn't like Lucy Liu's very much.

It looks like a hospital gown!

Jennifer Lawrence's dress was a miss this time, and she usually does really well. (She killed at the People's Choice and the Critics' Choice last week.) And yes, that weird thing across her boobs was the fatal flaw. It was just distracting.

Naomi was pure win. I've never seen her looking better.
At my core, I think we're gonna be OK.

I thought Lucy Liu's dress was a stunner. Easily my favorite of the night. She looked like a goddamned princess.

Also, Michelle Dockery and Heidi Klum:

I thought Lucy Liu's outfit was quite risky, but overall quite beautiful. The pic Scarlet posted was the first I saw and I didn't like it, but other pictures I've seen - including the one you posted Joey - won me over. I also loved the braid she wore with it.

Lucy's braid is an insta-win for me. I LOVE braids and they're so underused.

Wow, Amanda Peet's dress does look like a hospital gown, complete with a hospital bracelet.

I really thought Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore looked great. And Ewan McGregor, of course.

I like the style of Lucy's dress, but the floral pattern reminds me of my grandma's couch!
