Yes! I love how it's playfully innocent but still a bit risque. Lumpy Space Princess is the best!

The ones that stay with me and I keep coming back to again and again, in no particular order:

    1) The End of the Affair (the Ralph Fiennes/Julianne Moore version) - a beautifully written and acted, intensely emotional and cathartic movie.
    2) Kill Bill I & II - for me, one of Tarantino's most enjoyable and rewatchable. Thurman and the rest of the cast are just a kick-ass joy.
    3) Twelve Monkeys - I adore most of Gilliam's movies but this one stays in my head more than most. It's a great combination of weird, funny and at one or two moments, almost unbearably poignant.
    4) Aliens - the Cameron-directed action segment of the Alien series is the one I return to again and again. I do love me a quotable space marine
    5) The Grifters - I never get tired of this tale of small-time conman John Cusack circled and eventually destroyed by two other small-time crooks - his mother and his girlfriend.
    6) Blade Runner (the director's cut) - pretty much the most visually influential and atmospheric SF film ever made. It mesmerises me ever time.
    7) The Piano - there's a subdued eerieness to the characters and the landscape in this film I just love.
    8) The LOTR trilogy - so many fantasy epics are epic shit. Peter Jackson showed how it should be done. Heart in my mouth throughout, every time.
    9) The Fisher King - a mixure of whimsy and heart, I love this film.
    10) The Thin Man - the first and best of the Myrna Loy Nick n' Nora films. Just a delight from start to finish.

    Honourable mentions:

    The English Patient
    A Knight's Tale
    Ed Wood
    A League of their Own

    1) Carnivale
    2) Mad Men
    3) True Blood
    4) Dexter
    5) Spaced
    6) Father Ted
    7) Doctor Who
    8) Edge of Darkness
    9) Firefly
    10) Babylon 5
