finally caught up.... yes definately back on track
I looooooooooove this show! I love the look of it especially. Who ever decided the color treatment is brilliant. I agree with the Twin Peaks feel.
finally caught up.... yes definately back on track
I'm watching the marathon now.
Went back to the original Psycho, haven't watched it since high school, to see if and when little homages are thrown in to the movie.
Actually, I can't believe how much I loved the movie watching it this time around. Yes, it's a classic. But I never got it on the first viewing.
Norman in this show looks like he could grow up to look like the Norman from 1960 Psycho. A young Anthony Perkins for shizzle.

wow! just saw episode 5 and I'm even more hooked than I was before.
I haven't seen Episode 5, yet. But the previews for it made me kind of question the show. I think anything "Bates" related should be other-worldly creepy.. and some of the plot looks like actual episodes from Desperate Housewives. A few of the storylines are actually almost identical if memory serves, which it often does not.
And the color treatment, etc.. is getting less what it was episode one.
But I have a ton of faith that Episode 5 is great.

LOVED tonight's episode. I expected the episode to end halfway because it would be an awesome cliffhanger, but they kept on going!
Yes, tonight's ep was badass! I like how they aren't dragging out story lines and they're adding new twists and turns.
Yes, though it started to lose me in the second and third episodes, after that, I've been hooked.
i'm not happy that the Big C is airing at the same time as the Bates Motel. How am I to choose?![]()
The Big C, of course!
My face screams without an emotion
I thought the Big C ended.
LOVED the last 5 minutes especially....it was the perfect bridge connecting this series to psycho.
I can't decide if I'm supposed to or not, but I feel tremendous sympathy for Norma. She is so childlike in so many ways, and I think means so well but is kind of clueless. I just want to reach in the TV and hug her. Vera Farmiga is amazing.
