She killed it on SNL! And I LOVE "Liability."

The live version of "Liability" really drove it home for me. It's pretty devastating.

Her SNL performance was fantastic! I love Liability too. It reminds me more of Fiona Apple than Regina Spektor, if I had to pick.

i think the Regina influence I hear is in the way she sings in the verses, especially on words like "storm" and "poison" in the first verse. and then of course the vocalization on the word "everyone" at the end of the chorus. but it's definitely uniquely Lorde. love the song.

Her vocal on SNL was so perfect on it that it almost seems like a lip sync but I don't think it was?

Track list, on what I'm assuming is the back cover of the CD. Spoilered for size.

Eleven songs and one of them is a reprise--I like that it is a short tracklist! I'm sensing that this is going to be a really tight, thoughtfully-made album. Everything so far has pointed in that direction--the songs we have heard so far are great, the album cover is fantastic, and it sounds like she worked extremely hard to make this record turn out exactly the way she wanted it to.

Yeah at first I was annoyed at the short tracklist... but Pure Heroine was also only 10 tracks. I'm so excited to finally hear this body of work!

I have high expectations based on the singles and on how much I adore Pure Heroine. She's the coolest.

Yeah, I would much rather have a solid ten- or eleven-track album than a bloated eighteen-track monster that's only half good.

Also, this album needs to come out already. Feels like it's been FOREVER since the single and announcement.
