‘Star Wars’: Pedro Pascal to Lead ‘The Mandalorian’ Series

Pedro Pascal has been tapped to star in the “Star Wars” TV series “The Mandalorian,” which is expected to premiere on the Disney streaming service, Disney+.

Pascal’s name had previously been rumored for the role, but sources say he was one of many actors being considered. Now, insiders tell Variety that he has been offered the role and negotiations are underway.

Jon Favreau penned the series, which is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. It follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
I'm not sure if I will watch all these or even if I'm interested, but they're tempting me bigly with the hot guys

And now this! I've never seen her before but she's a mixed martial artist, actress, and looks cool!

Maaaaaaaaan...I dunno about this Mandalorian TV series. Those Mandalor-centric episodes of Clone Wars TV show were kinda meh. Favreau was a part of those, too. Why won't Disney just give us a damn Knights of the Old Republic show? Make it an anthology or whatever--new Jedis on new adventures every episode or whatever. *kicks dirt & crosses arms*

Look, if you didn't like TLJ, that's fine. But it's almost like the argument of "it's not as carefully crafted as the original trilogy" is masking misogyny or something... Clearly there are details that are thoughtful and meaningful. And if they don't speak to you? Hey, maybe you'll like the next one. But stop with the "ew there are girl cooties in my space opera" bullshit.

And I guess they're going to take a feature film break, as least as far as the main series goes. Focus on the tv shows and side shit for a while.

I burst into tears at Lando and Leia.
