I'm totally eating my words right now I just saw her at the Symbiosis Festival and was TOTALLY impressed by her sound. It reminds me of deconstructed, futuristic r&b. Great beats, her band consisted of three guys each playing drum pads and she had two dancers accompanying her. I'm definitely going to check out her albums now.

New archive of all her work to date here.

    That's a very busy layout!

Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

I’m loving the direction she’s going. Still weird but a bit more immediate. The song is beautiful and grows more beautiful on repeated listens.

Wow, love it. Looks and sounds like proper artistic evolution. Also achieving the perfect fusion of Beyonce and Bjork.

    ABSOLUTELY agreed.
I don't understand the question, and I won't respond to it.

Am I the only one getting Fiona Apple vibes from the song?
Не може со обични зборови да ја домами необичноста, зашто и необичните си имаат секој свој пат и тешко се среќаваат.

So her new album is floating around out there and uhm holy shite its stunning. Its so delicate. I know the comparison is tired but it sounds so inspired by Kate Bush to me. Sad Day is so reminiscent of Running Up That Hill. Definitely still unmistakably Fka Twigs in her delivery and otherworldliness but this record feels much more human and brimming with light than her last, which at times was very dark and robotic.

I'm so looking forward to Magdalene. LP1 was such a groundbreaking record. I wish she would release more full-lengths. She's very underrated in popular media culture.

The new record is breathtaking and just might edge out Norman Fucking Rockwell! as my album of the year. She's doing new things with her voice and sound, and her lyrics are even more emotionally incisive than on LP1.
