Rid of Me: Highway '61 Revisited

To Bring You My Love: Long Snake Moan
Is This Desire?: The River (I actually don't really like this song)
Stories: The Whores Hustle
Uh Huh Her: Cat on the Wall (easy!)
White Chalk: The Devil (the first live version we heard, prior to the release, was so amazing that this was a huge let down)
Let England Shake: All and Everyone (in fact, I deleted it soon after I heard it)
"The only time I get in that position is when I give birth." - Dorothy Zbornak
Remove? I don't know. I'll try replacing with a b-side.
Foutain (replaced by Oh, My Lover Demo)
Missed (Replaced by Daddy)
Sorry. Cannot replace or remove a song from TBYML. I would probably add Darling Be There between I Think I'm a Mother and Send His Love to Me. Or Lying in the Sun at the very end.
Girl (replaced by Losing Ground)
The Garden (replaced by Sweeter Than Anything. Although I do love this album from start to finish)
You Said Something (replaced by This Wicked Tongue. No contest. Her weakest track imo). Maybe add Kick it to the Ground at the end.
No Child of Mine (replaced by Dance. Or Stone)
Before Departure (I don't like any of the b-sides from this era, even though I think this is her second strongest album)
Bitter Branches (replaced by The Guns Called Me Back Again. Although, just how great is The Nightingale?)
I know
it's because I'm a little bored to listen to them
but I can replace them with
Sheela-Na-Gig
Long Snake Moan
Before Departure
I didn't choose any cover or B-side on purpose
except for THE B-SIDES promo for To Bring You My Love
but if we can, it will be an easier pick

White Chalk: Before Departure
A Woman A Man Walked By: Passionless, Pointless (In doing this exercise I realized how strong this is as a complete work)

I already hate myself for that post but I'm going to stick to it and write plausible replacements, since some people have already done it:
D: no real B-sides, so no possible replacements really
RoM: the cover of Howling Wolf's "Wang Dang Doodle" would fit the album, as would "Naked Cousin"
TBYML: probably "Lying in the Sun" or a studio version of "Goodnight"
DHaLP: remove "Girl", add "Losing Ground"
ITD: well, "Rebecca" is a glorious ballad that I've always wished would be included on the album
SftCSftS: hard to choose, since many B-sides were better than some of the tracks on the album but I'll go with "Memphis"
UHH: same as above - I really liked some of the B-sides from that era; it depends on my mood - today I'd choose "The Falling"
WC: again - no real B-sides (all were from other eras)
AWaMWB: remove "The Chair" but there are no real B-sides to replace it for this one as well
LES: "The Guns Called Me Back Again" is one of my favs from this era
Well, Goodnight was previously released on 4-Track-Demos...But I agree, it would also fit on TBYML
I WISH the 1995 live versions of "Goodnight" and "Hardly Wait" were recorded and released as B-sides! They were amazing and I think they fit the theme of TBYML.
This was very, very challenging.
