Perfect delivery, perfect energy, perfect voice.

And The waitress is the best solo version I've heard so far.

    i'm begging for a dvd.

Wow! Yes! Her voice is fantastic. Love the lower, powerful register....

Wow, what the hell! I didn't know she had shows this fall. That Waitress is the best I've ever heard! Is this taped?

I don't know if you've noticed it, but she's out of tune in some parts of some songs. Or it could be the low quality of the files but I totally hear it. Especially in Floating City.

By the way, I don't like the loops, at all. She does not need them. They always sound cheap.

No it's true, she went off key more than once. I think it's simple vocal weakness due to age, I don't think she's not taking care of her voice, she clearly does. With age you lose agility and, sometimes, precision. I guess it depends on your body and technique.

I also like Talula and the Waitress! And Crucify has never been so good. But am I the only one to think that Tori's solo shows have gotten a bit boring? Maybe I've been spoiled by the 2011/2012 tours, but I think she really needs people onstage with her to give pace to the show.

No, you're not the only one. I completely agree. I loved the shows with the orchestra and the quartet and the band. At every show she plays a few songs solo anyway, and I like the contrast.
What struck me is that in Basel she played Digital Ghost solo. I like the way the songs builds up with the band. I always imagined that David Bowie sings it. Without it, the piano parts sound so basic and i wonder why, of all her songs, she chooses to play that one solo.

I also prefer Tori solo, but when she's not at the top of her game you also notice it more.

I hope she continues to change it up. I wouldn't mind her experimenting with other band variations a time or two. Or adding in some never before heard instrumentation. Band doesn't have to be a scary word that means Jon and Matt playing over top of her.

But please at the very least get a real drummer on the albums!
