I have just returned from her concert in Duesseldorf in a church - and it was very good , though quite short (maybe because it was part of the New Fall Festival?)

She played almost all of Citizen of Glass (except for the titel song and Grasshopper).
It started with the instrumental piece Red Virgin Soil. All songs sounded really good, especially those more upbeat ones with electronic effects like familiar, golden green etc.
She was accompanied by two cellists and another woman on percussion and some sort of wood (?) instrument.
The accoustic instrumentes (Celli, Ukulele) were very clear in the sound mix, though the keyboard and piano weren`t enough on several songs (for my ears).
Agnes voice live is really stunning and all the other female singers sang beautifully, too. (especially on Stone)
She finished the set with "On powdered ground" and the ending sequence was very powerful and more dramatic than on the record, a lovely surprise.
Other Songs played: Dorian, Fuel to Fire, The Curse, Riverside and Philharmonics.

It was very cold in the church and the musicians were freezing, Agnes had to put on a coat for the encore.

I think everyone who likes the mixing and sound of the CoG-record will enjoy the live shows as well.

I bought the Philharmonics/Aventine-Sheet-Music book at the merch stand...I an learning how to play the piano and I really want to play some of her songs

I haven't gotten to listen yet because putting the album on my phone has caused it to go into self-destruct mode. My computer speakers suck (see bfp thread where I can't hear the bass in alamo). Some days electronics seem to be trying to kill me slowly.

Here is a short video of familiar from the performance in Duesseldorf: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMBUq-BTvAs

I sat next to a 10 year old boy and when she started playing this song he said to his father: "Ooooooooo, THAT is my absolute favorite piece!!!" and he was super excited. So sweet

TV channel ARTE has an Agnes Concert from Paris as a video on demand: http://concert.arte.tv/de/agnes-obel...des-bernardins
she plays the whole of Citizen of Glass.
On Powdered Ground is the next to last song - in a very nice arrangement, especially towards the end

I saw her yesterday in concert in cologne - so great!
They screened live footage of the musicians in very distorted ways in the background and it added very well to the atmosphere.
Agnes and her fellow musicians all wore white dresses and looked like tiny greek godesses.

Some of the new and older songs got new arrangements, more electronica and percussive elements.
I really hope, she will release a stand-alone live album from this tour.

Thanks for sharing CC! I saw her in London on that tour and she was absolutely spellbinding.
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

I'm keen to get to her London date! She's been sublime when I've seen her previously!
