Not really famous (but she should be!) but I know there are a few of us here that like her.

Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

Found this gem on D'Arcy Carden's TL today. She plays Janet on The Good Place (which is a great show btw).

In the replies she says the cd was BfP.

I keep on reading on these threads that St. Vincent is a huge Tori Amos fan, but when I do a Google search I don't seem to turn anything up where she has commented on Tori. What has she said about her?

Well she attended at least one of the two NYC shows in 2014. She also tweeted a few years ago how she and a friend used to listen to Hotel trying to keep up with the changing time signatures. And then she recently tweeted "I'd Cloud Ride with you any day, @toriamos"

I think that comment was from (or also by) Shara from My Brightest Diamond & it was one of her music teachers who had passed away that she was mentioning the memory of Hotel's time signature changes

Oh wow. I totally hallucinated then haha. I'm not even familiar with My Brightest Diamond so I don't know how I got that confused. :/

Willow Smith... from a Rolling Stone interview...

It seems like with this album, your voice is really starting to complement the instrumentation. Your vocal performance reminds me of Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos ...
Thank you! They are literally my icons. Alanis Morissette sings with this abandon that is so inspiring, and I try to implement that in my live performances as well. You can tell when someone's singing from their heart. You just look at them and see that they're feeling it.
