That made me so happy! She said Boys for Pele changed everything for her.

She and Craig also gushed over Aimee Mann and several other great artists.
Sometimes I think the so-called "experts" actually are experts.

It is known that Sharon den Adel is a huge Tori fan, it's nice that she mentions her!

    The album I wish I’d made is…

Tori Amos – Little Earthquakes (East West, 1992)
“I love lyrics and hers are amazing. It really touches you, it’s so visual and intense. With metaphors like ‘I got the anti-Christ in the kitchen yelling at me again’, you can really see this woman going mad about nothing!

    Cool

Not sure if this has been mentioned in another thread yet, but I just finished the Amazon series Good Omens. And OG celeb Toriphile Neil Gaiman dropped a massive shout out by having a main character use a classic line from "Cornflake Girl" around the 12 minute mark of S1E6. I'll put the specific moment and line in spoilers below. Anyway, it was a climactic moment in the show, and a great line, but knowing it's a quote from a Tori song and the history Tori & Neil share made it an epic moment for me.

    Um, yes, quite right.

    Well, that's embarrassing.

Emeli Sandé guest curated an 18-song playlist for Amazon, and it includes Tori (Cornflake Girl).

A quick search also found that she's mentioned Tori in the past in this interview: "Before I went to uni I worked in Virgin Megastore in Aberdeen. While there, I found Regina Spektor via Tori Amos, who I was a big fan of"

Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."
