The solo arrangement is good but it's just kinda a dull song. I think the only version I really love is when she just did a few bars on the harmonium in 96 into Etienne.

Not even going to talk about the island muzik original

I think having either COYI or Clouds on my Tongue is ok, but it's a bit too much to put them together

I'd much rather hear COYI than Cloud on my Tongue, honestly. Though if I had my choice, I'd rather hear COYI on the piano, or not at all. It was intense in 2001 but it's been pretty boring for the past several tours.

Keep in mind that I was at Orlando 2005 when she literally sang "CIIIIIIIIRCLES AAAAAAAAAAAND I'VE GOT TO STOP I CANNOT STOP CIIIIIIIIIIIIRCLES..." during Cloud on my Tongue. I was horrified. I looked at my friend and said, "Oh god, she's stuck in a loop! Someone should go out and bump her!" That show still haunts me. It was the second night of the tour and I did both Clearwater and Orlando. I was expecting 2001 solo Tori and we got... that. It was SEVEN MINUTES LONG and it closed the show.

Wow, I don't think she played Roosterspur Bridge so much even on the ADP tour

RB is one of my favourites from ADP. It's a really beautiful song but gets a bad rep cause of the studio version. The live solo versions she did during the ADP promo were stunning

I guess it's more seeing it on paper. Not a bad song (solo) per se.

I loved solo Roostersur back in 2007. But along with cool on your island and cloud on my tongue it is indeed a bit boring. Still, we're not allowed to bitch, 'cause this isn't the bitchfest thread, so let's cut it out immediately.

It's not exciting on paper, but again, all depends on performances.

Roosterspur is great live and CALS is pretty much always welcome.
