I loved Space Dog in St. Paul. One of my very favorite renditions. Man though, I just cannot get into Suede post-quartet at all.

Suede was one of the few misses for me in Austin. It's just missing something solo.

Suede is... mostly just biding time until Little Sister (but then suddenly worth it).

Contentiousness: I could take or leave the little sister bridge outside of the studio version! But I can't do the song at all without some consistent percussion. I love that drum loop.

I've gotten Mother twice but that was before mine passed away. I would be sobbing my eyes out if I was in the audience now.

It was the slowest grower over the years on Little Earthquakes for me. Hearing it now, years later, absolutely kills me.

Can't begin to imagine losing my mom

Somehow I had forgotten the song Mother existed for several years before she busted it out in Portland on the UG tour... which was an amazing performance. How I had forgotten it I will never know! It's been back in rotation ever since. That and the title track are the two songs I still actively seek out from LE regularly.

This is the first Spark arrangement I've truly liked since 2003.

((Hugs)) I relate a little. After losing Dad, hearing Winter live sort of obliterates me now.

Well. Fuck. I'd be a sobbing fool right now.
