Posting to say "phoaaar" to Matt Smith in a towel.

Also, because I wanted to see if my subscription to threads setting is set up right.

And because it's a Who. Which is awesome.

And Pete! Please don't break the forums. "unbreak unforumz, say you'll love them again..."

I hate being multiple episodes behind you guys, but I don't have the heart to download the episodes because it means the series will last longer for me

I would love if they let Big Finish do stuff with 9, but they can't use anything from the current run, and it doesn't seem like Eccelstone would be willing to do it.

He's not as desperate as every actor from Old Who! (I mean, the audios seem like a lot of fun to do, and I adore them, but listening to Mary Tamm talk about it in Gallifrey is hilarious. You just weren't getting any other work!)

    aaaaaand also Pandorica!

I'm most excited about that new thing Cybermen can do, to be honest. Utter filth.

What, they installed Fleshlights as orifices?

Are you happy the crack ate James Corden and Wossherface?

Yeah, but this means they'll probably show up in the finale now.

As for the Cybermen, check the trailer:

Around 0:48 seconds you'll notice that they can now indulge in...

OH RIGHT. For some reason I saw that and wasn't surprised or shocked in any way. "Oh, huh. I guess they WOULD do that."

Oh, you GUISE. The way to watch a series isn't by not watching, you sillies!

I am also several episodes behind. I wish they wouldn't lag us the way they do, because we can't participate in any good discussions, and most Saturday nights I have to stay away from Twitter to boot.

It's a shame about Eccleston. I'm still pretty new to Who (only in the middle of series 2, so generally staying the heck away from this thread until I'm finally caught up), but as dashingly handsome as Tennant is (and how!), I think I preferred Nine to Ten in a lot of ways. If nothing else, Nine and Rose had way better chemistry than Ten and Rose do. At least so far.

Picture of the day from NASA looks like Doctor Who crack:

A cosmic snake appears to slither across the plane of our Milky Way galaxy in this image from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The snake-like object located about 11,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius is actually the core of a thick, sooty cloud large enough to swallow dozens of solar systems and may be harboring beastly stars in the process of forming.

"The snake is an ideal place to hunt for massive forming stars as they have not had time to heat up and destroy the cloud they are born in," said Dr. Sean Carey, of NASA's Spitzer Science Center.

    Gorgeous picture, though.

Okay, so. Right. So. Previous regenerations, particularly the Hartnall incarnation, have cropped up a lot this series. The montage at the end of The Eleventh Hour, the library card, the printout in Vincent & The Doctor, last week's telepathic headbutting. Any significance? What do we think?
