Now that's my kind of ridiculous!
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

It’s interesting how many of the stories about the trailer contain the word “bonkers”. People on Brit’s Twitter were all thrilled, of course, but many people complained (mostly good-naturedly) about how long it’s taken. I dunno, two years and four months doesn’t seem too long. But anyway, I’m thrilled!
At my core, I think we're gonna be OK.

Veep - A little worried about where it's going to go, as the last season finale didn't set it up super well, and in some ways I think the story has run its natural course. Nevertheless, even if the writing is half as sharp as it generally is, it will still be better than anything else on TV.

Game of Thrones - I am new to this world, and not super knowledgeable about it, but I've seen enough of the show now to become invested in several characters and develop a genuine curiosity about how the story concludes.

Maybe (just maybe) the new Twilight Zone. The original is my favorite show of all time. None of the latter day installations hold a candle to it. So, we'll see.

I'm so happy She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power was renewed for Season 2! I know it's probably a given going in for most of those Netflix animated shows since they have to start working on them pretty far in advance, but still I was nervous after all the negative backlash to She-Ra not having giant tits.

THE OA IS HERE. I’ve seen the first episode, and it was satisfyingly batshit. I will definitely watch the whole thing this weekend.

I can’t believe it. I was watching Junebug tonight and at the end next to the watch next boxes was the OA “new episodes” logo.
I don’t have time tonight to start watching but I’m beyond excited!!!

I’ve seen the whole thing now. And, well, ho-lee shit.

Season One was pretty great. Season Two is better. It’s simultaneously more accessible and much, much weirder. And the last few minutes are breathtakingly psycho. It’s not like what they do has never been done before. But it’s so perfectly executed it blew my mind. I can’t remember the last time I responded to a creative work so...physically.

So anyway, yeah. If you’ve seen Season One, see Season Two fucking NOW. If you haven’t seen One, you should probably see that first. Brit and her partner Zal (Rostam’s brother! He does the show’s excellent score) are stone cold geniuses, and of course Brit is also a stunning actress. The whole cast is just great, right down to the cameos.
