I love it. Fantastic, chilled, restrained, sexy. One of her better lead singles and a nice change of direction.

I don't understand how people are complimenting her voice on this. For me it's one of her worst vocals ever, on the level of Girl Gone Wild. Totally emotionless and devoid of any passion or joy a song like Medellín would require. It's Maluma's song, not hers.

There's something about the song that I really do like. It's a bit of a grower.

Obviously there are a lot of negative feelings about Maluma. I don't know anything about him, nor do I really care to. But his voice is sexy and uhhh, he's very, very physically attractive.

I’ve decided I don’t like the song anymore...I now love it!
This is so low key, sultry and kind of romantic...it feels like Madonna again and she's driving it (love that “slow down papi” line).

And Maluma compliments her well on this, whereas on 4 Minutes she was drowned out.

    This is adorable, btw:

Yes, this is adorable. But quite egocentric and in some ways so artificial. What´s the point of recording yourself crying?. It´s like. Ok, now push the bottom and start recording me in the moment I make like I cry, or in the moment I genuinely cry, in case it happens.

Well I guess these are the times we are living with social networking.

Few tidbits. One, for those who don't like the song, there's 4 more coming out before album release.

    3 May 2019 – I Rise (3:44)
    10 May 2019 – Crave feat. Swae Lee (3:22)
    17 May 2019 – Future feat. Quavo (3:54)
    7 June 2019 – Dark Ballet (4:15)

Also, Madonna and Meluma will perform at the Billboard Music Awards.

Single #2 (and the one that will be performed at Eurovision) is rumored to be Killers Who Are Partying.

So it appears that we'll be getting a good sampling of the range of collaborations on this album before its release; I'm particularly interested to see what her and Starrah created, as their co-writes make up a good chunk of the tracklist (and if Billboard produced those songs or if we're in for a re-work situation ala Rebel Heart).

Haven't seen this posted, but the three bonus tracks from the deluxe boxset are:

    Funana
Back That Up to the Beat (a rumoured Mirwais re-work of the Rebel Heart demo she did with Pharrell)
    Ciao Bella

18 new tracks sounds good to me.

This song is for sure a grower. Still, a weird choice for a first single.
I find it strange the the teaser to the release seemed deep and meaningful, and then we got... well, this.
I'm curious to hear the new songs that are coming.
I have a good feeling about this album, although it's not because of the new single.

I think it's easily her best lead single since "Hung Up." There's a freshness and effortlessness about this that her singles haven't had in a good while.

I'm looking forward to "I Rise" on the 3rd! I'm hoping it destroys me in ways only her best album closers can! I was hoping it would be a Mirwais song, and he still might have a hand in the actual production of it, but it's co-written by the same guy who worked on "Ghosttown" as well as Starrah.
