    Lissie

Lissie is definitely deserving of her own thread, in my opinion. The full length has been out a while in the UK and comes out in the US next week. Her voice is fantastic and it's a perfect summer album - anybody else digging Catching A Tiger?

Also worth checking out the Bad Romance cover, which will also be a b-side on the next single:

    Thumbs up

Yeah, she's great. I saw her at Cambridge Folk Festival last week which was the first I'd heard of her. I've since bought her CD and have been enjoying it.
Maybe for once, someone will call me "Sir" without adding, "You're making a scene."

I made a thread about her over at @. She is fantastic, I love everything I've heard. I'm curious to see how they market her in the US. The video for Cuckoo, which is definitely the album's poppiest track, unfortunately has a Taylor Swift vibe. However, Lissie's voice and songwriting abilities blow Swift's out of the water. "Catching a Tiger" is a huge accomplishment and I hope she finds success here. Definitely can't wait to see her live!

I've been listening to her album a fair bit in recent times. I think When I'm Alone is my favourite along with Loosen the Knot. If she had played any concerts near me this summer I think I would definitely had gone to see her live.
